Hey everyone! My name is Dr. Kathryn O’Donnell and I am very excited to be joining the team at River District Dentistry. I grew up on the east coast of Canada in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia (hometown of Sidney Crosby!) I completed my undergrad at Acadia University and then went on to earn my dental degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax.
After graduating, I was looking for a change, so I packed up a U-haul and drove across thecountry to Vancouver. I completed a General Practice Residency at UBC where I gained experience in hospital dentistry at VGH, UBC Hospital, BC Cancer and the Children’s Hospital. Despite the rain, I quickly fell in love with Vancouver and all it has to offer—the amazing cuisine, the beaches, the outdoor adventures, the mountain views and the mild winters.
What more could I ask for? While I’m not working, you can find me skiing at Whistler, hiking, running or biking along the seawall, or going on road trips with friends (jamming to Taylor Swift along the way). I’m very excited to be staying in Vancouver and looking forward to meeting all of you at River District Dentistry!
